Logan C Nyasulu - Founder and Managing Director

Logan founded DSI in December 2012 after realising that there was a real need affecting Zambians in the Diaspora. He also realised that this need required devoted professionals to tackle it correctly and in a way that would provide an incentive for more and more Zambians to invest back home.

Logan holds a BSc (Land Economy), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and an MA Economic Policy Management, Registered Valuation Surveyor. Logan is a seasoned and experienced real estate professional with over 10 years experience in the property business in Zambia, South Africa and Angola.

He has worked for several key organisations including Standard Chartered Bank, Zambia National Building Society (ZNBS) and Knight Frank International. Logan's industry experience includes various board responsibilities such as the Valuation Surveyors Registrations board, Investment and Business Development Committee of the Mulungushi Village Complex, an investment of the Ministry of Finance, until August 2013 Trustee of the Standard Chartered Bank Pension Trust Fund, and previously member of the Bank of Zambia (Kwacha) Pension Trust Fund Investment and Tender Committees of the Board. Also upto August 2013 member of the Country Leadership Team of Standard Chartered Bank Zambia Plc.

He has also been involved in a multiplicity of real estate projects both at public and private sector level. At DSI, Logan is responsible for the supervising the overall implementation of the company’s strategy and business development.

Majumo Khunga- Director (Real Estate Document Specialist)

Majumo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in real estate and a Bachelor of Laws. He is a practicing lawyer and advocate of the High Court of Zambia. He obtained a Certificate in Legislative Drafting from the Bureau of Parliamentary Studies and Training in New Delhi, India in 2011.

Majumo has experience from various firms and organisations. He has worked as Corporate Officer at ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc, as Legal Officer, Senior Estates & Valuations Officer and Assistant Chief Registrar of Lands and Deeds at the Ministry of Lands between 2000 and 2010. He has facilitated and presented papers on Land Administration at both local and international conferences. Majumo's area of specialization covers Corporate Governance; Stock Exchange and Shareholder advisory; Conveyancing and Real Estate Consultancy; Land Policy Formulation; Company Law and drafting Commercial Transactions.

Apart from his affiliation to the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ), Majumo is a registered member of the Zambia Institute of Estate Agents (ZIEA) where he is also a member of ZIEA Disciplinary Committee. He is a qualified arbitrator. He seats on the Zambia Forestry and Forest Industries Corporation (ZAFFICO) and African Christian University (ACU) Boards.

At DSI, Majumo specialises in handling all title related and other real estate documentation to ensure that our clients' interests are protected and enable these to be utilisable in commercial transactions.

Projects and Documentation Manager- Mwenda Lupiya

Mwenda is a brilliant and objective-minded gentleman who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate studies from the Copperbelt University (CBU). For his undergraduate thesis, he conducted an evaluation of the Zambia National Housing Policy’s objective of assisting the poor acquire decent shelter. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration and aspires to study for another Master’s degree in International Business Management; Mwenda is a key resource in valuation and is currently undertaking his assessment of professional competence (APC) programme with the Zambia Valuation Surveyors Registration Board (VSRB) that is preparing him to become a registered valuation surveyor. He is also a member of the Zambia Institute of Estate Agents (ZIEA).

Apart from his training at the Copperbelt University, Mwenda is an experienced asset and inventory data collection specialist, having worked for Tetratech Incorporated, an American Architectural and Engineering services firm on the Lusaka Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage Project’s Resettlement Action Plan (LWSSD Project RAP) of the Millennium Challenge Corporation and Millennium Challenge Account Zambia, where he served as an Asset and Inventory Data Collection Specialist and Valuation Officer. He conducted asset and inventory data collection, property inspections and valuations, generated compensation agreements for project affected persons in order to facilitate for their compensation.

Mwenda also has experience in supervising construction works, as well as in undertaking sales and lettings. His role at DSI is essentially the management of construction projects and ensuring the documentation and processing of property documents (title deeds, planning consent, etc.) are concluded in a professional and timely manner. He is also involved in undertaking property valuations, property maintenance, estate agency as well as consultancy.

Temani Jere - Documentation Specialist

Temani is a graduate of in Real Estate. He has worked previously at the Government Valuation Department (GVD) where he acquired invaluable valuation knowledge and experience.

Temani is our documentation specialist managing various types of cases involving real estate ownership paper-work.
